It was simpler times back in 1989. We had our own currency, we were better than England at soccer, the Galway hurling team were winning All Irelands and young lads were kicking seven bells out of each other in Kilcormac Community Centre, Co. Offaly.

Kickboxing in the late 80's in Ireland was primitive fare, the distinct lack of headgear been particularly alarming, making the back teeth shaking kick at 3.24 even worse.
