The great comic actor Leslie Nielson has passed away. The world is a less funny place today.
Most well known for his role in 'Airplane', Nielson's greatest role had to have been Frank Drebin, the bumbling detective from the 'Police Squad' show and later the Naked Gun trilogy. Drebin's hijinks at a California Angels baseball game attended by the Queen may just be the funniest half hour of sports-related cinema.
