Setanta Ireland recently completed screening HBO’s excellent ice hockey documentary series 24/7. The show followed the New York Rangers and arch rivals Philadelphia Flyers as they got ready to play one another at the NHL Winter Classic.
Hockey is a game of savage brutality and balletic grace. A combination that the producers of the series deemed only a poetic montage could fully explain to the viewers.

]No need for flowery language or a soundtrack of sad music. No talk of a crushing, life changing blow to his gonads, boys in the hood,package or man zone. No instead Max Talbot encapsulated the dangers of hockey in a simple sentence.
