Just when you thought the New Orleans Saints bounty story couldn't get any more disturbing, up pops the below audio on YouTube. The Man speaking in the video is Gregg Williams, former Saints defensive coach. Williams currently suspended indefinitely from the NFL due to his role as the mastermind behind bounty scheme, gave this speech the night before the Saints playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers.
I am not that naive to think that this kind of macho talk does not take place in any other locker room, of course it does. What makes the Williams speech so callous is the obvious cold heartiness in which it is delivered. It is unnerving to hear Williams gleefully calling for his players to aim for the head of the opposition and how he seemingly has no trouble with the consequences those actions would have on the targeted men and their families.
