Diana Nyad is a legend. The journalist and long-distance swimmer has finished a number of epic swims, though her goal for her entire life has always been to swim the 103 mile journey from south Florida to Cuba. She tried again this week but had to stop just over the halfway mark after thunderstorms, high winds and jellyfish bites to her face halted her progress. Some photos from the swim are below.
