From August 1st Setanta is making big changes. The new BT Sport channels along with ESPN will become part of the Setanta pack. That means Setanta subscribers will have access to 5 channels, Setanta Ireland, Premier Sports (formerly Setanta 1), BT Sport 1 and 2 and ESPN. Plus these new channel are in HD.

That is a whole lot of sport. It will include 71 Premier League games potentially incorporating unmissable encounters like Liverpool v Man Utd, Arsenal vs Man Utd and Chelsea v Liverpool along with an abundance of other big games. Setanta will now own Saturday afternoons with the 12.45 and 3pm kick-offs both available to subscribers of the their pack.

If you're a Premier League fan, you can't go without a Setanta subscription any more.

It's not just Premier League though, viewers will have coverage of SPL and plenty of European football with Bundesliga (Pep Guardiola vs Jurgen Klopp anyone?), Ligue 1 (Zlatan vs Falcao) and Serie A (Balotelli vs everyone) all included.

And it doesn't stop with football either as rugby fans get Aviva Premiership action and French Top 14 which will feature the talents of Jonny Sexton at Racing Metro. There's also UFC including the biggest live events plus MLB and NHL.

Can a real sports nut go without all this sporting goodness in their life?
