Pierce Brosnan did a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Wednesday (you can peruse the whole thing here) where along with declaring Kerry to be his favourite place in Ireland, he threw out a zinger of a line in response to a fan's comment.
One user asked if Brosnan felt guilty for starting the trend of Sean Bean dying in films when he killed him in Goldeneye.This is the video compilation he refers to.
The Navanman said that it simply had to be done and that he had no regrets.
User swiley1983 threw out Sean Bean's final words before dying in the film which elicited a patriotic response from Brosnan.
The actor appeared on Jimmy Fallon this week and played the classic Nintendo 64 GoldenEye 007 with the talk show host.
