Survivors of the plane crash depicted in the film 'Alive' play 40th anniversary match.

The Uruguayan rugby team which was depicted in the film 'Alive' has played the match that they were travelling to Chile to play back in 1972.

Their plane experienced difficulties and crashed in the Andres. The team was stranded for 72 days and were forced to eat the flesh of their dead teammates in order to survive.

The farmer who discovered the survivors attended the match along with the helicopter which rescured them 40 years ago.
