The most exciting aspect of Linsanity is that no one saw it coming, except for Ed Weiland. He's  a FedEx delivery truck driver and amateur analyst of basketball statistics. In 2010 he predicted on the Hoops Analyst website that Jeremy Lin had the ability to be a starting point guard in the NBA.  The full article in the Wall Street Journal here.
