A fresh start

Dear Don,

How are you keeping? Love reading your advice every week. I'm having a bit of trouble with mice in the house. Have you any tips on how to solve this horrendous problem?

Also I've a bit of spare time on my hands now, so was thinking of getting into this Fantasy Football malarkey. However I only want to bring players who have been signed on transfer deadline day. Is it doable?

Peace out, downtown!

Hi Kieran,

Great to hear from you. Thanks for the kind compliments. I'm keeping well. Have recently embarked on a dairy free diet and it has worked wonders for my digestion,

Mice are a grave problem indeed. I've had many the battle with said four legged creature. Having tried everything under the sun, including poison, standard mouse traps and high frequency imitators, I've finally found an elaborate method that works very well. I've inserted a diagram of it below.

So to your Fantasy Football query. Yes it is very possible to have a team entirely made up of new signings. I've been playing about with the new guys and think I've managed to put a fairly decent squad together.

In fact, I've had to even leave some decent prospects out of the squad, such as Fabio Borini and Stephen Ireland. You can take a look at my team below. Obviously I'm not sure if these players will be guaranteed starters, and also I have included Samuel Eto'o even though technically he wasn't signed on deadline day.

This team will only set you back £91.3m. I wouldn't advice you to go only for transfer deadline signings but there are definitely a few lads worth keeping an eye on. Especially the likes of Sessegon and Moses who may be overlooked by other managers.

Hope this helps,
