Ernie Els is out of contention at this year's Open but that didn't stop last year's champion from hitting the shot of the tournament. His third shot at the 17th was an iron of decent range that simply flew into the hole. No bouncing or any of that nonsense. Yes luck is involved and yes there will be more difficult and more pressured shots to come but none will finish like this.
