A strange incident from a WNBA game between Phoenix Mercury and Minnesota Lynx in which Mercury player Diana Taurasi gave her opponent Seimone Augustus a quick peck on the cheek after the pair squared up to each other.

Each smiled and it was a nice moment for the pair who have known each other since their school days. However the referee was not impressed with the kiss, assessing personal fouls to both.

When questioned about the incident, Taurasi sarcastically said, "We were just trying to make sweet love." Augustus fired back, "The tango dance that we had, I always say she just wanted some of my deliciousness."
