Conor McGregor has another fight on his hands.

Mark Paul of the Irish Times reports on a US lawsuit which could force McGregor to release his tax returns and other sensitive documents relating to his wealth. McGregor is being sued by security guard William Pegg, who worked at the MGM Grand resort in Las Vegas, for personal injury.

Mr. Pegg was working as a security guard during a press conference ahead of McGregor's clash with Nate Diaz in 2016, an event during which McGregor threw cans of soft drink into the crowd. Mr. Pegg alleges that his back was injured when struck by a can, and has launched a case against McGregor in a Nevada court. He has asked McGregor to give a sworn deposition and release a series of documents related to his wealth, in order to be able to calculate damages.

Representatives for McGregor say that their client is being forced into settling the case, and that demands for McGregor to release his tax records for the last three years is a breach of privacy.

Among Mr. Pegg's other demands are the disclosing of documents related to how much McGregor is paid by his Las Vegas company, McGregor Sports and Entertainment LLC, the worth of his UFC contract for the 2016 Diaz bout and his credit card and bank statements.
