Fresh from being crowned the new IBF super bantamweight champion after defeating Ryosuke Iwasa in Tokyo, it would have been fair to allow TJ Doheny some time to celebrate the momentous achievement.

That wasn't the case however, with the 31-year-old having to deal with a call out from Japanese boxer Tomoki Kameda, who reportedly entered the ring in the immediate aftermath of his victory against Iwasa.

Kameda is a former world champion, but his stunt did not impress Doheny, with the Portlaoise man telling Japanese media that his rival was lucky to leave the ring unscathed following his attempt to crash the party:

 He's a bitch. He's lucky he didn't get a smack.

Doheny beat Iwasa by unanimous decision 115-113, 116-112, 117-112, but there were some who weren't convinced the Irishman deserved the win. That won't concern Doheny though, who can now choose to defend his title or seek to a unification bout with WBO champion Isaac Dogboe, which has been mooted by boxing promotion Top Rank.
