Floyd Mayweather eventually ended the fight in the tenth round, with Conor McGregor earning plaudits for lasting so long on his pro debut against one of the world's greatest. After the fight, both men showed an admirable level of respect to each other, with Mayweather heralding McGregor as a "great competitor" while McGregor paid tribute to his "composure" in the ring.
