It's quarter finals day at the PDC World Darts Championship. All the big names face each other in tonight's second half of the round, but this afternoon offered unbelievable drama, and showed the future of the game is very strong.

First, the fairytale story of Jamie Lewis continued as he romped into the semi finals with a 5-0 win over Darren Webster.

Next, we had the World Youth Champion, Dimitri Van den Bergh of Belgium, face off against England's Rob Cross, himself just a 27-year-old. Van den Bergh's incredible run to this stage looked to be as far as he would go in the early stages, before playing some incredible darts to get the game back to 4-4.

In the deciding set, Van den Bergh kept up the pressure, and was just the width of the wire away from one of the great checkouts of all time that would surely have been enough to get the job done.

Cross got things back together from then, and the nervousness of the deciding leg produced incredible tense darts with both players missing a huge amount of doubles.

After the match, both players showed huge respect to the other, with Cross offering the ultimate tribute to his opponent, claiming the best player lost.

Roll on tonight!
