Two Irish Swimmers Set PBs With Excellent Performances At Paralympic World Championships

Both Nicole Turner and Ellen Keane set personal bests in their respective finals on Day Two of the IPC Swimming World Championships in Glasgow.

13-year-old Turner finished a credible fifth in the 100m breaststroke SB6 final. She also finished fifth yesterday in her first ever World Championships final.

Ellen Keane also finished fifth this evening in the 100m breaststroke (SB8 class) final.

Hero of London 2012, Darragh McDonald, won Ireland's first medal of the championships yesterday when he took bronze in the S6 400m freestyle event.
