It was a successful first day for the Irish Paralympic swimming team at the IPC World Championships in Glasgow.

London 2012 gold medalist Darragh McDonald took bronze (watch the race here) in the the S6 400m freestyle while 13-year-old Nicole Turner finished fifth in the women's S6 400m freestyle final.
