Great news in the rugby media this morning. South African Super Rugby side the 'Cell C' Sharks have appointed Brendan Venter as their director of rugby for the upcoming season starting in 2015. Venter and new head coach Gary Gold take over from World Cup winning head coach Jake White.

Venter, as those familiar with Saracens and 'Mike Bassett:England Manager' will know, has produced the best post match interview pre Nick Cummins. Let's see if a Brendan Venter interview will fill the void after Cummins's departure. Now we just hope that Sireli Bobo is tempted to join him in Super Rugby.
