Should Both Of These Mid Air Collisions Have Resulted In Yellow Cards?

Another rugby match, another controversy. After last week's concussion controversy with George North, rugby has gone back to the obscurity of mid air collisions. Jared Payne was the beginning of the controversy surrounding players in the air, and now the tackling player has responsibility to take the player down safely.

I think it's obvious that Finn Russell didn't do that here:

But the question has to be asked, what can Russell do in that situation? He realises with a second before impact that Biggar is about to land on him. What would you do in Russell's situation?

Is that a yellow card?

Then Wales were down to fourteen themselves after Jonathan Davies was shown a yellow for a similar incident.

Is that the same? It seems very harsh on Davies given that he was pushed by a Scottish player into Beattie who is in the air.
