Ronan O'Gara made an unforgettable appearance on The Late Late Show this past weekend, making a joke which he has now felt it necessasry to apologise for.

Ryan Tubridy asked ROG what he was most proud of, scoring 2,625 points for Munster or fathering five children under the age of six.

O'Gara's answer lead to plenty of laughter and applause from the audience.

Though it seems his wife may not have been laughing at the quip.
