RBS Six Nations Player Of The Tournament 2015

Paul O'Connell has been named as the Six Nations player of the tournament for 2015.

Three Irish players were named on the 12 man shortlist that was put to a vote. Robbie Henshaw and  Conor Murray were overlooked in favour of the Irish and Munster legend who had a remarkable campaign completing all 80 minutes.

O'Connell lead Ireland by example, and was phenomenal in the final two games against Wales and Scotland. He beats off strong competition from the likes of Henshaw, Alun Wyn Jones and Jonathan Joseph.

It caps a remarkable tournament for Ireland, after securing their first back to back titles after 66 years that sets them up very well for the Rugby World Cup in England at the end of the year.
