Alan Quinlan's Pre-Match Joke About John Hayes Brings Warm Laughter From Mick Galwey
By Conall Cahill

Alan Quinlan and Anthony Foley were very close friends, and Quinlan gave an insight into that ahead of Munster's game against Glasgow this afternoon.

It's been a hard week for all those involved with Munster rugby after the tragic passing of Munster legend Anthony Foley on Saturday. Family, friends and former team-mates were at Foley's funeral on Friday, paying tribute to a man whose character touched many.

Munster play Glasgow today at Thomond Park in the Champions Cup and it is a match full of emotion and atmosphere.

And Quinlan, speaking for Sky Sports with Mick Galwey - another close friend and team-mate of Foley's - told of a more light-hearted exchange in a hard week, an exchange that Foley himself "would have loved".
