We wrote earlier about Squidge Rugby calling out the commentary from Austin Healey during Racing 92's Champions Cup defeat of Harlequins, after he berated the referee Andrew Brace on countless occasions for decisions given against the English side.

Fellow Irish ref Joy Neville was the TMO for the game, and Healey was also in disagreement with her when she decided not to award a first-half try for Quins, after she deemed that the ball was not grounded.

Below are some of Healey's outbursts from the commentary box.

"He's the captain so he's entitled to speak to the referee," he said of Alex Dombrandt after Brace awarded  scrum rather than a penalty for what Healey felt was a deliberate knock-on.

"He's just got to work out how to do it. He can legitimately say 'there's another penalty, they're offside.' Is he really going to catch that? No he's not. He has two hand going for it but he's not going to catch it. Not unless he's Mr. Tickle."

"Well that breakdown is the classic difference when you see English sides play in Europe," complained Healey of the match deciding penalty in the 78th minute. "You get a different interpretation of that breakdown and jackal from the referee. It was a clear penalty to Harlequins they had two guys over the ball, Wallace and Estherhuizen, both of them ave released from the tackle, both of them got their hands over, and yet the penalty goes against them. You can feel aggrieved."

"His hands are on the floor, it's ridiculous," he said after a first-half decision went against Quins. "It's exactly what the referees are trying to stop. Twice, not once, doesn't touch the ball to support his own body weight, doesn't compete for the ball.

"It's a ridiculous decision."
