Australia Looking To Bring Back Popular Indigenous Jersey

Rugby Australia are hoping to bring back their indigenous jersey ahead of this autumn's World Cup in what is sure to be a popular decision among the Australian public and all jersey enthusiasts.

The national governing body have sought permission from World Rugby to do so, as they only want to wear the unique garb for two of their tournament games, against Uruguay and in the semi-final should they make it that far.

Australia have only worn the jersey on two previous occasions, against New Zealand in 2017 and against England in 2018, though it was certainly a fan-favourite. Kurtley Beale was one of a number of players who spoke highly of the jersey in the past. He said:

I certainly felt that last year but I think it's a special jersey to be able to wear and I know a lot of the playing group are fully behind it and support it and would love to continue such a special thing.
