Australia have taken their slightly weird 'Get Rid of Red' campaign to another level. Fox Sports released a series of ads that climaxed with a psychotic koala bear smashing the offending red items such as a vase of roses and mugs. Now the hosts have decided in their infinite wisdom to produce more than 50,000 gold helmets as worn by hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau in order to combat the Lions 'sea of red'.

The 'Lions-Hunting Safari Hats' which look more like builder's hard hats, will be given out for free with 15,000 for the opening Test in Brisbane on June 22nd, 15,000 in Melbourne seven days later and 20,000 for the final Test in Sydney on July 6th.
