Australian rugby players Kurtley Beale and Adam Ashley-Cooper have been dropped by head coach Michael Chieka after breaking team protocols in the aftermath of their recent Wales defeat. The pair are alleged to have brought women back to the team hotel.

Australia are set to face England in Twickenham this Saturday as they look to finish a disappointing year on a high. However, they have been hit with the loss of star David Pocock due to a neck injury while a team spokesperson confirmed Beale and Ashley-Cooper had also been dropped.

Australia have a strict rule that no guests are allowed to be brought back to hotel rooms. Per rugby.com.au, the guests were Ashley-Cooper's sister-in-law and two friends but other senior players deemed it a breach. Chieka is reported to have only found on this week.

Elsewhere, Israel Folau and Bernard Foley have both recovered from a stomach bug and are set to start. The game kicks off at 3.00pm on Saturday.
