South Africa and Sharks hooker Bismarck du Plessis has been cleared over a stamp on Western Province's Lappies Labuschagné in the Currie Cup over the weekend. Bismarck was shown a yellow card for the incident and was called before an SARU committee.

Incredibly, the citing committee watched the footage and managed to come to the conclusion that the stamp was accidental, despite the fact that the assistant referee was looking straight at the incident and that Bismarck actually moved to hit Lappies just beforehand.
