Wales legend Sam Warburton has named seven Irish men on his prospective British and Irish Lions team ahead of this summer's tour of Australia.
Warburton choose a Lions starting XV off the back of the opening weekend of the Six Nations, with players eager to keep themselves at the forefront of manager Andy Farrell's thoughts.
Eye-catchingly, the former Lions captain selected Sam Prendergast as the starting out-half for the team, with the ten having broken onto the Irish team since the retirement of Jonathan Sexton.
Prendergast started Ireland's Opening Six Nations win over England though his performance at the weekend received mixed reviews.
He has plenty of credit in the bank however after some sterling displays for Leinster over the last number of months, with former flanker Warburton giving him a vote of confidence to lead the combined selection.
Alongside the Kildare native, Warburton also chose the returning Dan Sheehan on his team.

The Irish hooker tore his cruciate ligament just seven months ago during Ireland's loss to South Africa but he has returned in flying form, impressing for Leinster before scoring a try for Ireland in another barnstorming display against England.
Lock Tadhg Beirne and flanker Caelan Doris also make Warburton's XV, with Gibson Park, Bundee Aki and James Lowe bringing up the remainder of the Irish contingent on Warburton's selection.
Doris captained Ireland during their win over England while Beirne impressed in and out of possession.
Scrum half Gibson Park was the official man-of-the-match at the weekend after a sensational try while Aki also got on the score-sheet. Lowe was also in blistering form, playing a part in all three of Ireland's tries. Of those seven Irish players, Beirne and Aki are the only two who were part of the last tour in 2021, when the team took on South Africa.
Four Scotsmen make Warburton's selection, with three English players and one Welsh. See the full line-up below.
