Did you hear that sustained scream rolling across the country this morning? That was the sound of the nation gasping in unison at RTE's new 'Breakfast Buddies' viral starring George Hook and Brent Pope. As if the thought of watching Hook and Popey saunter around a kitchen in their PJs wasn't scary enough (what's exactly is the subtext?), we were treated to the rather disturbing image of Hook chopping grapefruits with meat clover. Harder to watch than the Ireland scrum.
