Former England rugby player Brian Moore is intensive care after he suffered a heart attack.

Moore played 64 times for England, winning three Grand Slams. He was also part of two Lions tours.

The 55-year-old former hooker tweeted early this morning that he was recovering in St. George's hospital in London. He also thanked the individuals who had saved his life.

Moore qualified as a solicitor during his rugby career.

After retiring from the sport, he moved into the media working as a commentator for the BBC, often alongside Eddie Butler. He also works as a columnist for The Telegraph and as a radio presenter.
