TV3 announced their World Cup line-up a few weeks ago and there was some disappointment that we wouldn't get to see Brian O'Driscoll cast his expert eye on how his ex-teammates get on.

However, depending on your TV's ability to pick up some cross channel channels, you may still have an opportunity to see the ex-Ireland captain in all his wisdom. O'Driscoll has been announced as part of ITV's punditry line-up alongside England's 2003 World Cup winning heroes Jonny Wilkinson, Lawrence Dallaglio, Jason Robinson and Clive Woodward.

John Inverdale will lead the coverage, while former Australia captain George Gregan and Welshman Gareth Edwards will make up the rest of the non-English contingent.
