After winning their second consecutive Six Nations title, the Irish rugby team have made no secret of their celebrations, living it large since claiming the title against Scotland last weekend.

However, Bundee Aki's most recent antics in Peter O'Mahony's prized garden would leave even the wildest of us horrified, with Conor Murray calling on fans to say a prayer for him.

From buses outside Gary Ringrose's house to renditions of Adele from Tadgh Furlong and Robbie Henshaw's wedding the Irish rugby team under the stewardship of Andy Farrell rarely made light of any celebrations and Bundee Aki made no exceptions when they visited their captain's home this weekend.

While Bundee Aki is well known for his unrelenting bravery on the pitch constantly making and taking huge hits, few could have ever imagined just how brave he really is, risking the wrath of Peter O'Mahony by taking a shovel and golf club to the Ireland captains garden.

O'Mahony makes no secret of his love for his garden with the vast majority of his social media presence featuring images of his garden and tutorials on the copious amounts of time and work needed to keep it in exceptional shape.

However, with the Six Nations celebrations eventually making their way to the Rebel county and back to O'Mahony's house, it was Aki who tried his hand at tending Pete's garden, lumping divots out with a golf club before planting a shovel into it and claiming a sod of grass as his prize.

Despite Aki seemingly relishing in his prize of famed Irish grass, Conor Murray was a little more worried for the Connacht star, calling on fans to dedicate their prayers to him, something we'd imagine you'd need plenty of facing off against O'Mahony.

Aki's antics come at the end of a long Six Nations campaign that seen Aki shine as one of the tournament's best players and Ireland win four of their five matches, falling only to England away in Twickenham but doing more than enough to cement their back-to-back championships.

Peter O'Mahony would take to Instagram himself earlier today and poked fun at the incident by including a golf emoji in the caption.

It looked like some shindig.

If as rumoured before their final game against Scotland that last Saturday's appearance was to be O'Mahony's final in a green jersey, then we suppose Aki's destruction of his garden is perhaps one final joke at their leader's expense and a befitting way to see of a servant of Irish rugby, by a team who have not only brought unprecedented success to the Island but brought it with great style and craic.

While the URC kicked back off this weekend, the majority of international stars were giving time off from their provinces after an intense eight weeks of international duty, with only the Ulster players, Craig Casey and Ciaran Frawley returning to their provinces for this weekend's games.

It will be back to business for most of the stars over the next few weeks as Champions Cup rugby quickly closes in before the Irish team meet up once again for a trip to South Africa and the chance to scalp the top-ranked team in the world.
