They love a good montage at RTÉ and that is absolutely no secret.
Even if this was just another Six Nations closing montage you would expect it to be excellent, but with the fact that there will be no coverage on RTÉ for the foreseeable future having lost the rights to TV3, you knew they were going to pull out all the stops.
And they did. They went right for the feels as they brought us a compilation of some of the most memorable moments from RTÉ's Six Nations coverage down the years to hammer home the point of how long they have been broadcasting the championship.
The music, the moments, this was certainly an emotional one.

It's going to be weird watching Ireland's Six Nations games on another network, but that's how it is and RTÉ picked a decent game to bow out on.
