A BBC Sport graphic highlights some eye-opening statistics about the amount of registered rugby players in Tier One nations at the Rugby World Cup.

The truly startling and stand-out statistic from the table is that of Tier One nations, Argentina has the second lowest number of registered players. They have 56,998 registered players which is a little under 40,000 less than Ireland, who they beat on Sunday.

What makes the Argentinian win and continued great showing at this World Cup all the more amazing is that the population of Argentina is set at a little over 41 million.

A further congratulations should probably be sent the way of the Pumas for their phenomenal performance on Sunday.
