35-year-old Oyonnax full-back Silvere Tian has been given a 15 month suspension for a bizarre outburst at referee Romain Poite that got him sent off against Grenoble three weeks ago.

Tian was initially sinbinned but Poite quickly upgraded it to a red card after a protest. LNR have come down harshly on the full-back, with a lengthy ban. It's unclear whether the player or his club will appeal the decision.
