Well, this was unexpected.

When you think of Georgian rugby, your mind automatically jumps to their power in the scrum. They have crafted a reputation as fierce scrummagers over the last couple of decades, with even the most talented of packs struggling to deal with them on occasion.

What you don't necessarily associate with them is free-flowing expansive rugby, but their try against Ireland this afternoon showed they are certainly capable of pulling some wonderful play out of the bag.

They entered the contest in the Aviva Stadium having not scored a try in their opening two games of the Autumn Nations Cup, with Billy Burns scoring the opening try of the contest inside the first ten minutes.

However, Georgia would soon respond with a try of their own. It was an incredible passage of play, featuring some beautiful dummies and slip passes. Take a look at this.

That is certainly up there with the best tries we have seen in the autumn series.

It's fair to say Ireland didn't exactly over themselves in glory, however, with a number of missed tackles. Jacob Stockdale will certainly disappointed having fallen for the dummy as the last line of defence.
