Scotland came within a minute of pulling off a major upset against Australia in the Rugby World Cup quarter-final.

The northern hemisphere's last chance of having a World Cup semi-finalist led 34-32 when the Aussies were awarded a late penalty.

Within minutes of the final whistle, shocked Scotland captain Greig Laidlaw was interviewed on the pitch. In moments like this, it certainly seems cruel that players should have to be interviewed on live TV.

Understandably, Laidlaw was mostly 'lost for words' - though did question why the referee did not go to the TMO regarding the crucial penalty decision.
