The teachers and students of Palmerston North Boys' High School in New Zealand gave a remarkable guard of honour to one of their former teachers, Dawson Tamatea, who had died suddenly at the age of 55.

As the hearse arrived to the grounds, the students gathered to perform the haka in his honour.

The video description says:

The entire school performing the Haka during the arrival of Mr. Tamatea in the hearse. This was a very emotional and powerful performance. We are extremely proud of our boys' performance and we know that Mr Tamatea would be too.

Tamatea had been a PE and maths teacher in the school for almost 30 years.
