This time last year, NRL hardman Willie Mason agreed to wear a microphone during Newcastle Knights' clash with St George Dragons. Put simply, it was bloody fantastic. And now we have another example of this niche form of entertainment to sink our teeth into.

Everyone's favourite Aussie rugby presenter Sean Maloney is fronting NRC Extra Time and he had the pleasure of introducing another example of the mic'd up rugby player trend that we dearly hopes makes it to the northern hemisphere at some stage in the near future.

This time it was Brisbane City's Karmichael Hunt who slapped on the 'doobie whacker' and let everyone hear what he had to say. It's clear that Hunt has a very different personality than that of Mason but nonetheless it's still very enjoyable.
