Keatley Contract Extension

Ian Keatley has been given a new two year deal with Munster. Keatley along with several others players have renewed their contracts with the province which will give Munster a boost going into the final pool games of the Champions Cup.

27 year old Keatley, who joined Munster from Connacht in 2011, has signed a two year deal which will see him stay in Munster until June 2017. Development players 22 year old Shane Buckley has signed a one year contract, while 23 year old centre Cian Bohane has signed a two year deal that will see him stay in Munster colours until 2017. Both players are products of the Munster academy.

Munster have also announced that academy no.8 Jack O'Donoghue, the former Ireland U-20 captain has been impressing in the Greencore Munster academy and has been rewarded with a 3 year contract that will ensure his talented future remains with the province until 2018. O'Donoghue is definitely a name to watch in the future.

Meanwhile, Munster have announced that hooker 23 year old Kevin O'Byrne, who has been drafted in to cover for injuries to Damien Varley and Mike Sherry, has been signed to a development contract until the end of the season.
