Former Ireland and Lions prop Paul Wallace believes Ian Madigan and Gordon D'Arcy should form the Irish centre pairing following the retirement of Brian O'Dricsoll.

Wallace compared Madigan's footballing skills to those of Matt Giteau and suggested the new centre partnership would be better balanced than the long-standing D'Arcy-O'Driscoll partnership.

Wallace, who played for both Munster and Leinster (and never lost a match in this fixture regardless of which team he was on) said Munster need to return to their old simplified gameplan to get over their current slump.
