Joe Schmidt has named his 32-man squad for Ireland's three-match tour of South Africa next month.

New caps include South African-born Connacht second row Quinn Roux and Ulster's New Zealand-born backrow Sean Reidy. Reidy qualifies to play for Ireland through a grandparent from Kerry.

While notable omissions include Stuart McCloskey, Ian Madigan, Gary Ringrose and Tommy O'Donnell.

Ireland travel to South Africa on June 5th with the first test six days later in Cape Town. The other tests are on June 18th and 25th with the games in Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth respectively.
