Andy Farrell has named his Ireland team to play France in the Six Nations this weekend.

Due to a hamstring strain suffered in training on Wednesday, Johnny Sexton will miss the game. Joey Carbery starts at out-half in place of the Ireland captain. Jack Carty has been named on the bench as backup out-half while James Ryan will captain the team from the second row.

Apart from the change at number 10, Farrell has named an unchanged starting team.

Along with the inclusion of Carty, there are two further changes on the bench with Iain Henderson and Robbie Henshaw now available after overcoming injuries.
