Eight Players Set To Make Ireland Debuts Against USA

Andy Farrell has named his Ireland team to face USA this weekend in the second summer series match.

There are eight players in the matchday 23 set to make their international debuts. Four of them, all from Ulster, are in the starting team.

Robert Baloucoune gets his chance on the wing, while James Hume will be inside him at centre. In the forwards, Nick Timoney starts at openside flaker and Tom O'Toolee at tighthead prop.

The players who could to make their debuts off the bench are Munster second row Fineen Wycherley, Connacht pair Paul Boyle (backrow) and Caolin Blade (scrum-half), and Leinster out-half Harry Byrne.

The team will be captained by Leinster second row James Ryan.

Saturday's game will be live from the Aviva on RTÉ2 with kick-off at 7:15pm.
