Ireland had themselves quite the month down in New Zealand.
Getting their schedule off to the worst possible start with loss to the Maoris and the All Blacks in their first two fixtures, they would never really look back from that point on.
Not only would they secure a first ever test victory over New Zealand and Kiwi soil, but they would then wrap up a series victory the following week. It was the first time that the All Blacks had lost a test series at home since 1994.
Ireland have received a huge amount of praise as result, something that looks unlikely to stop anytime soon.

Nigel Owens has been giving out his awards for the summer test series involving the various nations, with Ireland unsurprisingly featuring heavily.
Tadhg Beirne was named as his player of the month, while Andy Farrell was coach of the month. Peter O'Mahony's emotional reaction to clinching the series win in New Zealand was also named as the most memorable moment.
Player of the month? Pretty straightforward this one, even thought there were some great performances across all the countries during the month's rugby.
It has to go to Tadhg Beirne. He was absolutely brilliant and vital, particularly in that third test against the All Blacks...
Coach of the month? That has got to be Andy Farrell and his team.
All the way down to New Zealand, a first ever win there, and also a first test series win there after losing the first test pretty heavily. That takes some doing. Credit to Andy Farrell and his team...
Moment of the month? It's got to be Peter O'Mahony crying, not after Bundee Aki stole his kebab, but after they beat the All Blacks.
You could see what it meant to a player who had been trying so hard for many, many years.
Beirne was in sensational form throughout the series, with his performance in the final 20 minutes in the final test among the finest spells of play you are ever likely to see in international rugby.
As for Farrell, he responded brilliantly to the defeat in the opening test, tweaking Ireland's tactics in order to exploit the flaws in the All Blacks. You couldn't argue with O'Mahony's inclusion either, with his reaction summing up what the whole thing meant to the team.
All in all, a decent month for Ireland.
