However Craig Joubert was well aware of the noise of the Irish fans today, especially in the minutes after the crowd was informed that they'd broken the attendance record for a World Cup match.

With 53 minutes gone, Romania were taking their sweet-ass time over throwing into a line-out on their own five-metre line. Joubert was very understanding though. He told Donnacha Ryan 'This is a hell of a noise. I've got sympathy for them.'
