The Irish rugby squad spent their down day visiting some of the sporting sights of Chicago ahead of this weekend's game against Italy at Soldier Field.

Players first visited the MB Ice Arena, the practice home of NHL team, the Chicago Blackhawks.

Later in the evening, players visited the United Center to see the Chicago Bulls play the Denver Nuggets.
