With their competitors proving very active in the transfer market it looks like Toulouse are about to make a big move of their own. Having endured a tough season, getting beaten in the Top 14 semi final and not making it out of the pool stages in the Champions Cup, plus the fact that they are losing their long time coach Guy Noves, fans will be delighted to see some positive news coming out about a possible big addition to the team.

Mortimer goes on to say that Toulouse president René Bouscatel is handling negotiations and links to the French story here. The Leicester centre would be expected to make a big impact if he were to arrive in the Top 14 but Toulouse will be hoping that he puts his injury troubles of last season behind him.

With players such as the Armitage brothers and Nick Abendanon flourishing in France, it may be the right time for Tuilagi to leave Leicester, particularly after his recent disciplinary problems have seen him ruled out of the World Cup by England coach Stuart Lancaster.
