James Lowe responded to being dropped by the Chiefs by coming off the bench to set up a sensational try for fullback Damian McKenzie against the Sunwolves on Saturday.

The Chiefs led the game 20-10 in Waikato when Lowe came off the bench 15 minutes into the second half.

Just five minutes later, Lowe took an offload from Aaron Cruden, hared down the wing and then played a brilliant no-look pass to McKenzie.

Lowe has been a regular on the wing for the Chiefs in recent seasons. However, he was dropped due to some poor recent form.

The 24-year-old will join Leinster next season.
